Nail Technology Instructional Methods
A variety of instructional methods are used to ensure student learning. In theory classes, instructors utilize lecture, videos, demonstrations, hands-on practice, guest speakers, test book review, work book review, written exams, field trips, and salon observation. During practical application, seniors practice procedures on clients. Freshmen utilize mannequins. Skills are developed through demonstrations, hands-on assignments, practical demonstrations and mock board practice, written assignments, projects, competitions to test knowledge and build skills, and workbook and text review.
