The 1200 hour hair design curriculum is focused on the complete understanding of the salon industry.

By your training and by using professional products, you will learn how to become a professional hair designer.
 



Introduction

You will learn the fundamentals of cutting, styling and chemical restructuring of the hair. You will study related sciences of anatomy and physiology, be introduced to retail merchandising, client servicing and personal development skills.

Our program trains you to use the knowledge gained in theory by applying it to practical situations in the clinic. You will improve your skills and attain a level of performance consistent with the standards of Destination Academy.

Now that you know how to do it, take this opportunity to sharpen your skills. Learn the final strategies necessary for job placement and interviewing. You can determine competency in all tasks required for the skill certification examination and possess the theoretical knowledge you need to pass the written examination required by Destination Academy and the state board of cosmetology,
